Privacy & Cookies

Who we are
That Gut Feeding is a personal site run by Caroline, focused on living well with celiac. The site is reachable at thatgutfeeding.com, and questions or privacy requests can go to the contact form on the contact page.
What we collect
The site is built to keep data collection minimal. Two places anything is collected at all:
- Contact form. When you fill in the contact form, we receive your name, email and message so we can reply. That’s it. We don’t pass it on to anyone else.
- Cookies. A small consent cookie remembers your cookie choice so the banner doesn’t follow you around. If you opt in to analytics, we use Google Analytics to count anonymous page visits — how many people read which post, roughly where in the world they are, that sort of thing. No personal profiles, no advertising trackers.
Cookies in detail
- Necessary cookies keep the site running (consent choice, basic session). These can’t be turned off without breaking things.
- Optional analytics cookies only run if you press Accept all on the banner. Press Essential only and they never load.
Changing your mind
To withdraw analytics consent, clear the cookie-consent cookie in your browser and the banner will reappear next visit. To remove anything you sent through the contact form, write to us via the contact page and we’ll delete it.
Hosting
The site runs on Norwegian-managed cloud infrastructure operated by Databank AS, who keep it online and patched. They don’t have access to the content you submit through the contact form beyond what’s needed to keep the email working.
Updates to this policy
If anything material changes, the date at the top moves and you’ll see the cookie banner again to confirm consent against the new terms.
